Salary Details:
- SSC CPO (Central Police Organization) Sub Inspectors in the Delhi Police and CAPF are paid a salary of Rs 35400/- - Rs 112400/- (Pay Level 6).
- Sub Inspector in the CAPF (Central Armed Police Forces) is a Group 'C' Non-Gazetted post, whereas Sub Inspector in the Delhi Police is a Group 'B' Non-Gazetted post.
- Besides the basic pay, the candidates are also offered other allowances and benefits.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality/Citizenship: Candidates must be:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A subject of Bhutan.
- Age Limit: The age of the candidates should be between 20 and 25 years as of 01.08.2023, which means candidates should be born between 02.08.1998 and 01.08.2003. [Check Here]
- Age Relaxation: The following category-wise age relaxations are applicable-
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years
- Educational Qualification: A bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or an equivalent degree, is required of candidates.
- Other Qualification: Having a current Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving license, which covers both motorcycles and vehicles, is required on the day set for the Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests in order to be considered for the position of Sub Inspector in the Delhi Police (available only to male candidates). Candidates can still apply for any other CAPF positions even if they do not have a current LMV driving license.

Selection Process:
The selection for the posts of Sub-Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police and Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPF shall be done through 4 stages: Paper 1, Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Paper 2, and Document Verification.
