Indian Navy has released an official notification regarding the recruitment of Agniveer (SSR) May 2023 Batch. The online application will start from 29th May 2023, and eligible candidates can submit their applications on the official portal of the Indian Navy. Approximately 1365 posts of Senior Secondary Recruits are available, and interested candidates can apply to serve the country.

Eligibility:

•  Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary or 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry or Biology or Computer Sceince from a recognized board are eligible for this recruitment.

•  Age Limit:  (Minimum Age : 17.5 Years & Maximum Age : 21 Years) Candidates born between 1st November 2002 to 30th April 2006 (both dates inclusive) are eligible for Indian Navy SSR recruitment.
•  Age Relaxation:  SC/ ST /OBC  Candidates Relaxation as per Government Rule.
  
•  Minimum Height:  157 CMS for Male Candidates & 152 CMS for Female Candidates.

•  Marital Status:  Only unmarried male and unmarried female candidates are eligible for Indian Navy SSR Recruitment 2023.

 How to Apply: 

Follow the steps below to complete the application process:

• Click on the "Online Application Link".

• A new tab will open, redirecting you to the official web portal.

• If you haven't registered yet, click on the registration option and complete the registration process.

• Log in using your registered email address and password.

• Once logged in, click on "Current Opportunities".

• Select the "Agniveer (SSR)" option.

• Fill in all the required details carefully in the application form.

• Verify that all the entered details are correct before proceeding.

• Upload the required documents in the specified file types and sizes.

• Pay the examination fee through the provided payment options.

• Finally, review your application and submit it.

• Make sure to keep a copy of the acknowledgement for future reference.

 Selection Criteria: 

The selection process consists of three stages:

 Stage-I (INET) : 

• Shortlisting: Shortlisting of candidates will be based on the marks obtained in the INET. The shortlisting process will be carried out state-wise as vacancies are allocated accordingly.

 

• Exam Details:

• Type of Exam : Computer Based Examination
• Medium of Exam : Hindi and English
• Total Marks : 100 Marks
  
• No. of Questions : 100 MCQs
• Duration : 1 Hour
  
• Syllabus : English, Science, Mathematics, and General Awareness
• Negative Marking : 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer

Note: Candidates must pass in all sections and aggregate. The pass marks in each section and aggregate will be determined by the Indian Navy.

 Stage-II (Written Exam, PFT, and Initial Medical): 

Candidates shortlisted from the INET examination will undergo Stage-II, which includes a written exam, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), and Initial Medical Examination.

Physical Fitness Test:

 1.6 KM Running 
 6:30 mins (Male), 8 mins (Female)

 Squats 

 20 (Male), 15 (Female)

 Push-ups 

 12 (Male)

 Bent Knee Sit-ups 

 10 (Female)

Note: The written examination and physical fitness test will be conducted on the same day.

 

 Stage-III (Final Medical Examination): 

Candidates who are medically fit in the Final Recruitment Medical Examination will be recruited. Candidates found medically unfit can appeal within 21 days at INHS Nivarini/INHS Kalyani.
