Indian Navy MR Recruitment 2023 ( Agniveer): Indian Navy has announced the commencement of the Agniveer MR Recruitment application process, starting from 29th May 2023. Eligible candidates, as per the official notification, can submit their applications on the Indian Navy's official portal. This recruitment falls under the newly launched Agnipath Scheme.

Eligibility:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the Matriculation Examination (10th) from the Board of School Education recognized by MHRD, Government of India.
- Age Limit: Candidates born between 1st November 2002 to 30th April 2006 (both dates inclusive) are eligible for Indian Navy MR recruitment.
- Minimum Height: 157 CMS for Male Candidates & 152 CMS for Female Candidates.
- Marital Status: Only unmarried male and unmarried female candidates are eligible for Indian Navy MR Recruitment 2023.
Examination Fee:
Candidates need to pay an examination fee of Rs. 550/- (Rupees Five hundred fifty only) plus 18% GST during the online application process. The fee can be paid through online mode using net banking or Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card/UPI. Admit cards will be issued only to candidates who have successfully paid the examination fee.

- Log in using your registered email address and password.
- Look for the Current Opportunities section.
- Select the Agniveer (MR) option or the relevant job position.
- Fill in all the required details accurately and carefully.
- Double-check that all the entered information is correct.
- Upload the necessary documents in the specified file types and sizes.
- Proceed to make the payment for the Examination Fee, if applicable.
- Finally, submit your completed application.
- Keep a copy of the acknowledgement or confirmation for future reference.
Selection Criteria:
The selection process for Indian Navy MR Recruitment involves three stages:
Stage-I (INET - Indian Navy Entrance Test):
- Shortlisting: Shortlisting of candidates will be based on the marks obtained in the INET. The shortlisting process will be carried out state-wise as vacancies are allocated accordingly.
- Exam Details:
- Type of Exam : Computer Based Examination
- Medium of Exam : Hindi and English
- Total Marks : 50 Marks
- No. of Questions : 50 MCQs
- Duration : 30 Minutes
- Syllabus : Science & Mathematics and General Awareness
- Negative Marking : 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer
Note: Candidates must pass in all sections and the aggregate score. The pass marks in each section and the aggregate score will be determined by the Indian Navy.
Stage-II (Written Exam, PFT, and Initial Medical):
Candidates shortlisted from the INET examination will be called for Stage-II, which includes a written exam, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), and Initial Medical examination. The syllabus for the written exam is available on the official website. Aadhaar Card is mandatory for Stage-II.
- Physical Fitness Test: Qualifying in the PFT is mandatory for selection and without qualifying PFT candidates will not be able to participate in the further process. Candidates undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk.
- Test Details:
6:30 mins (Male), 8 mins (Female)
- Initial Medical Examination: Candidates qualifying the PFT will undergo an Initial Medical Examination. Those who qualify this examination will be provisionally fit, subject to the final medical examination. Candidates found medically unfit can appeal against the findings at the designated military hospital within 21 days.
- Merit List: The Merit List will be prepared based on performance in Stage-II written exam, subject to qualification in the Physical Fitness Test and Initial Medical Examination. The merit list for Agniveer (MR) male and female candidates will be based on state-wise merit. The cut-off marks for call-up letters may vary from state to state for the final recruitment examination at INS Chilka.
Stage-III (Final Medical Examination):
The Final Recruitment Medical Examination for selected candidates will be conducted at INS Chilka. Medically fit candidates will be recruited, while medically unfit candidates can appeal against the findings at INHS Nivarini/INHS Kalyani within 21 days.
