Qualification Details
1. Office Assistant (Multipurpose):
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.
- Proficiency in the local language as prescribed by the participating RRBs.
- Desirable: Working knowledge of computers.
2. Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager):
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics, or Accountancy.
- Proficiency in the local language as prescribed by the participating RRBs.
- Desirable: Working knowledge of computers.
3. Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer - Manager):
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics, or Accountancy.
- Two years of experience as an officer in a bank or financial institution.
4. Officer Scale-II (Information Technology):
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized University in Electronics/Communication/Computer Science/Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
- Desirable: Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP, etc.
- One year of experience in the relevant field.
5. Officer Scale-II (Chartered Accountant):
- Certified Associate (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
- One year of experience as a Chartered Accountant.
6. Officer Scale-II (Law):
- Degree from a recognized University in Law or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
- Two years of experience as an advocate or worked as a Law Officer in banks or financial institutions for a minimum of two years.
7. Officer Scale-II (Marketing):
- MBA in Marketing from a recognized university.
- One year of experience in the relevant field.
8. Officer Scale-II (Treasury):
- Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance from a recognized university/institution.
- One year of experience in the relevant field.
9. Officer Scale-II (Agriculture):
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Dairy/Animal Husbandry/Forestry/Veterinary Science/Agricultural Engineering/Pisciculture from a recognized university or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
- Two years of experience in the relevant field.
IBPS Age Limit Details:
Office Assistant (Multipurpose):
- Between 18 years and 28 years.
- Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.06.1995 and later than 01.06.2005 (both dates inclusive).
Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager):
- Above 18 years and below 30 years.
- Candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1993 and later than 30.06.2005 (both dates inclusive).
Officer Scale-II (Manager):
- Above 21 years and below 32 years.
- Candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1991 and later than 31.05.2002 (both dates inclusive).
Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager):
- Above 21 years and below 40 years.
- Candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1983 and later than 31.05.2002 (both dates inclusive).
There is age relaxation provided for certain categories:
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
- PWD: 10 years
Language Proficiency:
Candidates applying for the Office Assistant posts in any specific RRB must have proficiency in the local language of the State/UT where the RRB is located. This proficiency is necessary to be eligible for the interview process.
Nationality / Citizenship:
To be eligible for IBPS RRB Recruitment, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- A Citizen of India.
- A subject of Nepal.
- A subject of Nepal.
- A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Candidates falling under categories (2), (3), (4), and (5) mentioned above must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

- Rs.175/- (Inclusive of GST) for SC/ST/PWBD candidates.

- Rs.175/- (Inclusive of GST) for SC/ST/PWBD/EXSM candidates.
- Rs.850/- (Inclusive of GST) for all others.
