 Eligibility Criteria: 

• Age Limit: Candidates should not exceed 38 years of age as of 01.01.2023. SC/ST candidates have a relaxation of 5 years, OBC/MOBC candidates have a relaxation of 3 years, and PWD candidates have a relaxation of 10 years.  [Calculate you age here]

• Residency: Candidates must hold a Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC) and be proficient in the local language.

• Educational Qualification:

• Candidates must have a good academic record with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent grade on a point scale) at the Master's degree level in the relevant subject. SC/ST/PWD candidates may be given a 5% marks relaxation. Ph.D. holders who obtained their Master's degree prior to September 19, 1991, may also be given a 5% marks relaxation. Candidates must mention their qualifications as of the date of application submission. M.Phil/Ph.D./presentation of Seminar Papers/Publications can be acquired and submitted on the date of the interview but not beyond.

• Eligibility criteria and selection procedure will follow the Government of Assam's Office Memorandum (OM) AHE 239/2021/68 dated 24.01.2022, with NET/SLET/SET as mandatory eligibility conditions. Candidates with a Ph.D. degree, in accordance with the UGC regulations of 2009 for the award of Ph.D. degree, will be exempted from the minimum eligibility conditions of NET/SLET/SET.

• In-Service candidates should apply through proper channel with "NOC" obtained  from the competent authority.
