- Resident-ship: Only candidates who are permanent residents of Assam are eligible to apply for this course.
- Educational Qualification: Applicants must have passed the Higher Secondary (+2) or an equivalent examination from recognized Boards/Councils with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate, excluding marks secured in extra/optional/fourth subjects.
- For candidates belonging to SC/ST(PV/ST(H)) category, there will be a relaxation of 5% of marks in aggregate.
- Age Limit: The minimum age for applicants is 18 years, and the maximum age is 34 years as of 1st July 2023. Candidates belonging to SC, ST(P), and ST(H) categories will have a relaxation of 2 years in the upper age limit.
