Eligibility
- All Indian citizens above the age of 14 years who are permanent residents of Assam are eligible to register at the Employment Exchange of the state.
- Each candidate is eligible for registration at one employment exchange within the district of their permanent residence.
- The candidates are eligible for Registration in one Employment Exchange only in the state, where they are permanent residents within the jurisdiction of the District.
Online Exchange Registration Process
To generate the Employment Exchange Registration Certificate online, applicants need to submit their applications through the official portal of the Government of Assam. There are two verification methods available: AADHAAR Based Verification and Non-AADHAAR Based Verification.
AADHAAR Based Verification
- Applicants choosing this method do not need to visit any office for verification.
- The authentication process relies on their AADHAAR details.
- Follow these steps for AADHAAR Based Verification:
- Visit the official application portal and complete the registration process using your mobile number.
- Log in to the portal using your User ID and Password.
- Select the "Register in Employment Exchange (AADHAAR Based)" option.
- Fill in the required information and upload the necessary documents.
- Download the Employment Exchange Registration e-certificate.
Non-AADHAAR Based Verification
- Applicants selecting Non-AADHAAR Based Verification need to visit the Employment Office for document verification.
- Follow these steps for Non-AADHAAR Based Verification:
- Visit the official application portal and complete the registration process using your mobile number.
- Log in to the portal using your User ID and Password.
- Select the "Register in Employment Exchange (Non-AADHAAR Based)" option.
- Choose the date and time for document verification.
- Visit the designated employment office on the scheduled appointment.
- Complete the necessary guidelines and process.
- Receive the Employment Registration Certificate.
Required Documents for Registration
- Mobile Number: A valid and active mobile number is required for the registration process.
- Educational Documents: Compile all pass certificates and mark sheets into a single PDF document.
- Age Proof: Provide one of the following documents: Birth Certificate, HSLC Admit Card, or School Certificate.
- Proof of Residency: Submit one of the following documents: AADHAAR Card, Driving License, Copy of Chitha/Jamabandi, Copy of Passport, or Certified Copy of Electoral Roll/EPIC.
- Caste Certificate: If applicable (SC, ST, or OBC/MOBC category).
- EWS Certificate: If applicable (Economically Weaker Section).
- PWD Certificate: If applicable (Person with Disability).
