 Eligibility Criteria: 

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have at least 50% marks in the Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanities. For candidates with a Bachelor's in Engineering/Technology, specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks is required.  Selection Criteria: 

The selection for admission into the B.Ed. Programme at any institution under Dibrugarh University will be based on the following criteria:

• A Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted centrally, carrying a maximum of 70 marks.

• Career performance, carrying a maximum of 30 marks, based on the percentage secured in the HSLC, HS, First Degree, and/or Master's Degree Examination.

• The career performance marks will be calculated as 10% of the percentage of marks secured in each examination. For example, if a student obtains 53% in the First Degree Examination, their career performance marks in that examination will be 5.3.
  

 

Candidates who clear the B.Ed. CET 2023 will need to apply for admission to their preferred institution. The institutions will select candidates based on their marks in the CET and Career Performance, with the marks for career performance awarded by the respective institutions.

 

 

 Dibrugarh University B.Ed. CET Syllabus: 

Dibrugarh University will conduct a Common Entrance Test to provisionally select candidates for admission into the B.Ed. Programme offered by affiliated colleges and the Department of Education.
 

The Entrance Test shall carry a total of 70 marks consisting of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) on the following areas: 

• General English: 15 marks

• General Knowledge: 25 marks

• Test of Reasoning: 10 marks

• Numerical Ability: 10 marks

• Teaching Aptitude: 10 marks

The duration of the test will be 1 hour 30 minutes, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
