 Eligibility Criteria: 

Age Limit: The age of candidates should be between 20 years and 28 years as of 1st July 2023. Candidates must have been born between 2nd July 1995 and 1st July 2003 (both dates inclusive). [You can calculate your age here]

Age Relaxation: The following age relaxations are applicable:

  • Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe: 5 years
  • Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
  • Persons With Disabilities: 10 years

 

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. The candidate should possess a valid Mark-sheet/Degree Certificate to prove their graduation status and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.

Computer Literacy: Candidates must have operating and working knowledge of computer systems. They should have a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/language or have studied Computer/Information Technology as one of the subjects in High School/College/Institute.

Proficiency in the Official Language: Candidates should be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking the Official Language of the State/UT for which they wish to apply for vacancies.

Selection Process: 

The selection process for IBPS Clerk recruitment involves two stages: Preliminary Examination and Main Examination.

 Preliminary Examination: 

Candidates must qualify in each of the three tests (English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability) by securing the cut-off marks set by IBPS. An adequate number of candidates in each category will be shortlisted for the Online Main examination.

Maximum Marks: 100 (30 marks for English Language, 35 marks for Numerical Ability, 35 marks for Reasoning Ability)

 Main Examination: 

The Main examination comprises four sections: General/Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, and Quantitative Aptitude.
